The Steelers swapped practice squad defenders ahead of the team’s Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football.
The team announced Monday that it signed defensive tackle Kyler Baugh to the practice squad, releasing cornerback Daryl Porter Jr. in a corresponding move.
Baugh, 24, played college football at Minnesota. He’s yet to appear in an
NFL game. He first signed with the Steelers in December of 2024 and this addition to the practice squad will mark his third stint with the team. The 6’2, 305-pound defensive tackle was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2022 and 2023.
Porter appeared in one game during his stint with the Steelers, being elevated for the team’s Week 16 win in Detroit and playing three special teams snaps and one on defense.
