If you like metalcore, then AEW’s pick for theme song to Maximum Carnage might be your jam. This song goes hard.
AEW revealed that, “I Don’t Belong Anywhere,” by the band Dying Wish is the sound of choice for this week’s Maximum Carnage special episodes of Dynamite (Jan. 14) and Collision (taped to air on Jan. 17).
Here is the music video for a better listen without promos and Excalibur speaking over the song.
The lyrics are pretty good for a wrestling tune. Take a gander at the first verse:
You take the easy way out
But you can’t force me to hide
I am no coward, unlike you
I persist out of spite
Reject me, hate what you don’t understand
I am defiance shoved down your throats
If you refuse me
You become my perfect enemy
That sounds like fighting words.
The card for Maximum Carnage currently includes:
- Dynamite: MJF (c) vs. Bandido for AEW World Championship
- Dynamite: Darby Allin vs. PAC
- Dynamite: Triangle of Madness vs. Kris Statlander & Babes of Wrath
- Dynamite: Kenny Omega returns
- Collision: Eddie Kingston & Ortiz vs. Grizzled Young Veterans
Another note on the music tip, Collision has a new, “Ionized,” theme song produced by Mikey Rukus. It sounds like a beat that Hologram and El Clon would fight to. Or at least dance fight.
