While the 2025 season is still weeks from ending, the TCU Horned Frogs made a splash in the transfer portal, with news breaking on Wednesday that Oklahoma State offensive lineman Noah McKinney has committed
to join the Horned Frogs next season. McKinney, who opted for the transfer portal after Oklahoma State parted ways with longtime head coach Mike Gundy, is currently the No. 1 rated player in the portal. The 6-foot-4, 330-pound interior offensive lineman started at right guard for seven games this season and is rated a three-star transfer.
McKinney started his career at UNLV, where he logged three seasons before transferring to Oklahoma State. He’ll arrive in Fort Worth with one year of eligibility remaining and projects as an immediate starter on the TCU line, which will seek to reload on the interior. The Horned Frogs are set to lose three starting interior players in left guard Cade Bennett (sixth-year senior), center Coltin Deery (fourth-year senior) and right guard Carson Bruno (fifth-year senior). Remington Strickland (fifth-year senior) has also played reps on the interior this season.
