The Las Vegas Raiders promoted wide receiver Cody White from the practice squad recently.

Size:
6-3, 227 pounds.
NFL experience:
White entered the NFL in 202o. He first signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, then went to New York Giants and the Denver Broncos in 2020, but making the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 53-man roster that season. He was there until 2022. He spent the past three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. The Raiders signed him to the practice squad after he didn’t
make the Seahawks’ roster last month. He has played in 33 games in five NFL seasons.
Draft status:
Johnson went undrafted in 2020.
College:
He went to Michigan State.
Raiders ties:
Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak was Seattle’s offensive coordinator last season.
How he will fit in with Raiders:
White, who turns 28 in November, has already made an impact for Las Vegas in the three games he was elevated from the practice squad. He had three catches — all for touchdowns and he has been a playmaker on special teams. He will get an opportunity to build on that success.
