Major League Wrestling is honoring the tradition of southern wrestling by introducing a new championship called the Southern Crown.
In the video package, Joe Dombrowski explained that the Southern Crown is inspired by the deep roots of professional wrestling in the American South. That rowdy style shaped the attitude and swagger of the modern era.
The inaugural titleholder will be crowned in a Bunkhouse Stampede hosted in Atlanta, Georgia. Match details will be revealed in coming weeks on episodes

The Southern Crown Championship joins the list of titles in MLW alongside the World Heavyweight Championship, the World Middleweight Championship, the National Openweight Championship, the World Tag Team Championship, and the Women’s World Featherweight Championship.
