The Kentucky Wildcats are getting geared up for what will be a big game on Saturday night at Kroger Field against the Tennessee Volunteers.
With the injury reports rolling out starting last night, the BBN
might have held their breath, as plenty of offensive skill players made an appearance on the list. Those names included Seth McGowan, Willie Rodriguez, and Josh Kattus. Well, we can all take a deep breath as the tight end duo has been removed from the report heading into the final day of practice.
For McGowan, he and Fred Farrier are still listed as questionable, likely meaning tomorrow’s designation is a big one on whether they can take the field come Saturday night.
Defensively, the Cats will once again have to take the field without cornerback DJ Waller. A starter in the secondary to start the season, this matchup against the Vols’ high-powered offense would have been a great time to welcome him back to the field. Now we will just have to hope that Terhyon Nichols can produce as he did last week against Texas.
Tomorrow is an important day. Now all of our eyes will shift to lead running back, Seth McGowan.
For the Vols, starting cornerbacks Jermod McCoy and Rickey Gibson remain out, while starting linebacker and leading tackler Arion Carter remains questionable.
