Dani Olmo has reportedly rejected a highly lucrative offer to leave Barcelona and head for Saudi Pro League side Al Qadisiyah.
There have been a few whispers that Al Qadisiyah are keen on Olmo and it’s now being reported that an offer was made and swiftly rejected.
Diario Sport say that the club were willing to offer Barcelona €60 million for Olmo and were also willing to hand the Spain star a huge contract.
The offer on the table was a four-year contract that would have made Olmo one of the highest-paid
Spanish players in the world.
Olmo was offered the chance to earn around €40m in total – about € 9.5m net a year – but gave the offer short shrift and made it clear he wants to stay at Barcelona.
Sport say that Olmo is purely focused on continuing with the Catalans and establishing himself as a crucial part of Hansi Flick’s team.
