Professional Fighters League (PFL) rocked the sold-out Mohammed V Sports Complex on Sat. night (Oct. 10, 2026) in Casablanca, Morocco, featuring the heavyweight main event pitting Abdoulaye Kane against Badr Medkouri. The bout was expected to end early considering the firepower of both players and Kane held up his end of the bargain, smashing Medkouri by way of first-round technical knockout.
Have a look:
Elsewhere on the card, division finals were set in the PFL Africa playoffs, where combatants will
compete for $100,000 in prize money and the season championship. Shido Boris Esperança and David Samuel were both victorious in Morocco, so they’ll hook ‘em up for all the marbles later this year in Rwanda.
Judging by the video below, these two can’t wait to get their hands on one another.
Patrick Ocheme stopped Cornel Thompson with a brutal liver kick to advance to the lightweight finals, where he’ll tangle with Demba Seck — who somehow managed to advance without winning his bout against Hussain Al Kurdi. Seck had hit nuts absolutely annihilated with a misplaced knee, bringing an end to the fight by way of No Contest.
Under PFL rules, a winner must be declared in semifinal matchups.
In addition, Dwight Joseph was able to outlast Boule Godogo and will advance to battle Raphael Uchegbu for the 135-pound crown. Uchegbu is coming off a victory over Edson Machavane at the PFL event last June in Nigeria.
