The Cincinnati Bengals are across the pond and in Spain right now for their Week 9 international game against the Atlanta Falcons. Sitting at 5-2, the Bengals are primed for a run at the division, and they don’t want to drop a winnable game before they host the Steelers in Week 10.
Unfortunately for the Bengals, they’re dealing with some injuries. They didn’t actually practice on Wednesday, but they did release a projection of who would have practiced if they did.
Cornerback DJ Turner (heel), safety
Kyle Dugger (quadricep), and edge rusher Cedric Johnson (ankle/foot) were all listed as DNP as they’re dealing with injuries suffered against the Titans.
Jonathan Allen was listed as DNP, but that was for a veteran rest day. The only other name on the injury report was Jordan Battle, who would have been limited had the Bengals practiced, with a hamstring injury.
The Falcons had a walkthrough on Wednesday. They had more names on the injury report, but most of the guys on the list at least had a limited role in practice.
Defensive back Billy Bowman (hamstring), wide receiver Beaux Collins, defensive end James Pearce Jr. and tackle Cameron Williams all practiced in full.
Linebackers Yasir Abdullah (hamstring), Divine Deablo (forearm) and running back Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) were limited, while wide receiver Zachariah Branch (hamstring) did not practice.
The Bengals and Falcons take the field on Sunday morning (at least for those of us in the States). Hopefully they’re much healthier Sunday than they are on Wednesday.
