Barcelona are thought to be keen to keep hold of Joao Cancelo past the end of the current campaign when his contract with the Catalan giants expires.
Hansi Flick has been full of praise for the Portugal international who is enjoying a second loan spell at the Camp Nou.
Al-Hilal are willing to let Cancelo go in the summer but want around €15 million in compensation for the full-back, according to local reports.
Cancelo still has a year left to run on his contract with the Saudi Pro League club and Al-Hilal
want to profit from his departure.
That number is unlikely to go down well with Barcelona, who had been hoping to try and secure Cancelo on a free transfer in the summer.
Cancelo’s agent Jorge Mendes now looks to have his work cut out to agree a deal between all parties, with the defender having long made it clear he loves playing for Barca.
