Sunday afternoon was a rough one for the New Orleans Saints as they fell 26-14 to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. Yesterday’s game was one of numbers for New Orleans: 1 missed field goal by Blake Grupe,
3 sacks by the Bears defense, 4 interceptions thrown by Spencer Rattler and an 8-game winning streak over the Bears broken, all leading to the Saints falling to 1-6 on the season.
This week, the Saints will play their first game of the season against a divisional opponent in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are currently 5-2 and on top of the NFC South. It will be a short week for the Bucs as they will face off against the Detroit Lions tonight on MNF.
Kickoff is at 3:05 pm CT in Caesars Superdome.
According to FanDuel, the Saints are currently 6.5-point underdogs vs. the Bucs. The over/under is currently at 47.5 points but there is sure to be some movement on those odds before Sunday’s matchup.
