The Missouri Tigers improved 6-2 (3-2 SEC) with a 34-10 win over Arkansas on a Halloween Saturday night in Fayetteville. Sure, it wasn’t a statement win by any means, but Mizzou took care of business like they were supposed to do.
It was Missouri’s fifth consecutive win in the Battle Line Rivalry — and the Tigers jumped four spots to No. 19 in the latest AP Top 25 poll.
Let’s get to our latest MV3:
1. Jamal Roberts
The return of Ahmad Hardy was a good storyline on Saturday night, but we knew he wouldn’t carry a heavy
workload coming in. So, you know what? Just run the dang ball to Jamal Roberts. On 23 carries, Roberts rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown. With his performance on the ground, he eclipsed 1,000 rushing yards this season — becoming the 53rd Mizzou player to do so in program history. With five 100-plus rushing yard games this season, Roberts currently leads the SEC — and all of Power Four — with 1,0005 rushing yards.
2. Nicholas Rodriguez
Rodriguez has consistently been a force to be reckoned with this season. Making his presence felt, he contributed for nine total tackles and a forced fumble. It was another dominate performance for the junior linebacker as he’s making his case for a First-Team All-SEC campaign — currently atop the conference with 84 tackles through eight games.
3. Trajen Greco
Greco has made significant strides during his junior season. On Saturday night, the safety contributed for eight total tackles, an interception, and a pass deflection. KJ Jackson’s lone interception on the night came on Arkansas’ second offensive drive of the game and Mizzou scored a field goal on the following possession — setting the tone for the rest of the way. Greco has three interceptions on the year — which is currently tied for 2nd in the SEC.
