Here are the ratings from Manchester United’s 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest:
Starters
Senne Lammens – 6
Couldn’t do much about either goal. His bottom level is fairly high, which bodes well for the side.
Diogo Dalot – 3
Another poor performance. Has been the under-par performer in recent weeks.
Leny Yoro – 5
Struggled in the air for the second goal. A player who is still coming to terms with the league’s physicality.
Matthijs De Ligt – 5
He has been one of the bright spots this season, but still feels like a second-in-command.
Luke Shaw – 7
The best player in the backline today.
Amad Diallo – 7
Got outmuscled for the goal but scored a brilliant volley and nearly won the game.
Casemiro – 7
Another goal from a set play for the Brazilian. Was a goal threat for the rest of the game and did his part
Bruno Fernandes – 7
The two midfielders were fairly good for the most part and combined for the first goal, but didn’t run the game like Elliot Anderson.
Bryan Mbeumo – 6
His corner led to the second goal, and his direct running will always keep teams on their toes, but Forest did a job on him today.
Matheus Cunha – 6
A bit quiet today, but he always attracts a lot of players around him.
Benjamin Sesko – 5
A player who is still developing his game, and it showed today. His touch let him down today against two solid defenders. These are the little things he’ll need to work on to go up a level.
Subs
Patrick Dorgu – 5
Played a part in the goal and helped a bit with the shape once he came on, but didn’t offer much else.
Noussair Mazraoui – 3
Usually quite reliable, but had a few careless moments.
Manager
Ruben Amorim – 6
Frustrating result, but the team showed some spirit towards the end. Both sides battled, and Forest are clearly a much better team than the table suggests. The likes of Elliot Anderson showed a lot of quality, and some of United’s players weren’t as sharp as they could be. The manager trusted most of the XI right till the end, which is something to keep an eye on.
