Field Hockey (9-2, 1-2)
The #5 Orange posted a 5-1 victory over Colgate on Friday night behind three assists from Pati Strunk,
Syracuse heads west to play Stanford and California next week.
Women’s Soccer (4-6-4, 0-5-1)
Syracuse remains winless in ACC play. The Orange jumped out to an early lead against Clemson on this Mia Klammer goal.
The Tigers came back and then scored the game-winner in the final seconds. Now the Orange will head to Miami looking for their first win.
Men’s Soccer (5-4-2, 2-2-0)
Syracuse won their third straight game with a 1-0 home win over Boston College on Friday night behind this goal from Bryson Rodriguez.
Tomas Hut got his third consecutive clean sheet. The Orange will host SMU on Saturday night.
Volleyball (10-4, 2-2)
Syracuse once again split their road trip. Gabriella McLaughlin led the Orange to a 3-1 win over Virginia Tech.
On Sunday, the Orange went 5 sets with Virginia before falling in the final set. Syracuse returns home to face California and Stanford next weekend.
Cross-Country
Syracuse send two teams to the Paul Short Invitational. The Orange women took 5th in the Brown Race behind a 23rd place finish by Beatriz Fernandes. The men were 5th in the Gold Race with Sam Ricchiuti leading them
Syracuse now has two weeks before they race again with the squads splitting to go to Wisconsin and Princeton on October 17th.
Women’s Ice Hockey (2-2, 0-0)
Syracuse found the back of the net and the win column beating Stonehill by 3-2 and 8-2 margins. Emma Gnade and Peyton Armstrong both scored two goals and two assists over the weekend.
The Orange are back home next weekend to host Quinnipiac.
