Yes, Fulham have a good home record this season but I’m confident of us going into any game at the moment and getting something
from it.
There’ll be a few question marks over players returning after international duty, however we’ve got options and whoever we put in will do a good job.
I’m going for a 2-0 win with Enzo – who’ll be desperate to make up for his error vs Arsenal – to grab the first.

After the way we played against Arsenal at home, and with the “Til the end” mantra still well and truly alive, I cant see us losing this one despite Fulham’s decent home record.
Ballard is a ballistic missile in defence and attack, and showed against the Gunners that he also has the skills to bring down a ball and drill it home as well as get his head to one. What a player.
I think we will have a goal less first half but our finishers will come on and do the job, with Ballard soaring above a tiring Fulham defence and Brobbey coming on to add to his tally after that awesome finish before the break.
Get the points, get no injuries and get back home lads. And stretch those hammies…it’s bloody cold out there.

Finally. The international breaks are over until March next year. Proper football now has the reigns until then.
After our marvellous display last time, scoring not just one but two goals against the seeming impenetrable Arsenal, we have to be full of confidence going into this one.
Fulham have been bumping along in lower mid table and have only a solitary win in their last five, against a desperate Wolves side. However, they have had some tough games, and have been a Premier League mainstay since winning the Championship in the 21/22 season. Like everyone this season, they need to be given respect, but not too much.
We have everyone back fit from country duty, after a scare regarding Reinildo was quashed by Regis Le Bris. I think we will have too much for Fulham with our physicality, pace and power – we’re showing our back up lads also have something to bring, should we need to change it with particular reference to Brian Brobbey after he opened his account.
Isidor will set us on our way, after his great start to the season, and we’ll end up winning comfortably. It may sound like overconfidence but we have done it against good sides, and I have no doubt in the lads for this one.

Still not over Brobbey’s equaliser. Ballard had smashed us in front, the place was bouncing, and we’d gone toe-to-toe with the league leaders. It felt like a statement and a sign of how far we’ve come.
Now it’s Fulham away. Another London trip, another overpriced pint, another chance to show we’re not just a nice story, we’re a serious side. Fulham have a decent home record, but they’re wobbling. One win in five, and that was against Wolves, who’ve been about as threatening as a damp tea towel.
We’ll be in the black kit again, the away end will be bouncing, and I fancy us to get back on track. Le Fée owes us one after that loose touch against Arsenal and I reckon he’ll make amends here. He’s got the quality, the bite, and the knack for popping up in the right areas. This feels like his game.

It’s felt like an eternity since the Arsenal game, but hopefully the lads are still riding that high.
Up next are Fulham, and whilst they may be sitting in 15th, that is down to their abysmal away record.
At Craven Cottage, its three wins out of five, with Arsenal the only side so far to take home the spoils.
Fulham go into this as slight favourites with the bookies, which suits us.
My head would be on another planet if we record another win. But a point on the road is certainly not to be sniffed at.

Go out there, defend like trojans and nick a winner on the counter.
Personally I think this one will be tougher than we expect, and 3 points at Craven Cottage will be huge in the grand scheme of things.

Fresh off of another International break, I hope we can pick up where we left off after a great performance and point against the league leaders.
Fulham away presents us with a winnable fixture, but their home record is actually decent – winning 3, drawing with Man Utd and only losing a close one to Arsenal. It’s their away form that has them hovering around the bottom 3, so I think this game will be much tougher than it looks on paper.
Undoubtedly, if we are playing at the levels and intensity we showed against both Chelsea and Arsenal then we will win this one. But those levels are tough to repeat week in, week out. We just have to keep picking up points, and we may have to settle for a draw down at Craven Cottage. I always fancy Isidor to net on the road with his pace on the break.

With that international break finally over and the Arsenal game feeling like it was about 6 months ago the lads once again head to London.
They come up against a Fulham side with one win in the last five league games and that was against a struggling Wolves side.
Not even going to talk about typical Sunderland as we are going to win this match without any bother what so ever.
So the fans making the trip down can enjoy a cold trip along the Thames, drinking extremely expensive pints around the Fulham cheeseboard-owning locals and tourists, who have had their pants pulled down paying £100 plus to watch the red and white wizards (in their black third kit).
Last time out…
The lads did it once again with an amazing performance against the table toppers Arsenal, securing a 2-2 draw and maintaining the unbeaten home record against a side who hadn’t conceded in about 9 games.
Not only did we show them how its done in the first half, after going behind we then resumed normal service with an equaliser right in the category of “Til the end”.
We could have had more, we may have lost the game, but performing like that against a team who will truly be fighting for the title come May is far from a run out to be sniffed at.
Last game predictions…
Our predictions boys were reasonably confident of us holding our own before the international pause, and a few of them took points, just as the mighty mackems did on the pitch.
Nothing for four of the lads though, as they were either too ambitious or too downbeat to get anything from what was one of the most remarkable performances at the SOL since it was built getting on for 30 years ago,
Predictions Table and Standings
Brett the braggart stays top but Jack closed the gap a little on him from his prediction of a draw before the break. Matty is on the shoulder of Jack waiting for his chance.
Mid table is most of the table, with only our Gair (who got a yellow card this week for late submission) with a couple of points to make up to regain ground on the peloton.
