Bayern Munich has sent Julien Yanda out on loan for the upcoming season, with the 18-year-old left-back joining CD Eldense in Spain’s second division per FCBayern.com.
The move will give Yanda the opportunity to take the next step in his development by gaining valuable experience in senior football. CD Eldense, newly promoted to the Spanish second division, will provide the young defender with a new challenge and the chance to continue developing outside of the Bayern Munich campus.
Yanda joined Bayern
Munich from FC St. Pauli in January 2025 and quickly became an important player for the club’s reserves. Since arriving, the left-back has made 40 appearances, contributing three goals and four assists.
Now, the next phase of his development will take place in Spain.
For a young player still establishing himself at senior level, regular playing time and experience in a competitive environment could prove extremely valuable. Bayern Munich will be hoping that Yanda can use the loan spell to continue improving and return to the club as a more experienced and complete player.
The loan represents another opportunity for a promising Bayern Munich youngster to gain valuable experience away from the club before potentially making the next step in his career.
