As the Buccaneers get set to take on the Bills in Buffalo following their home loss to the New England Patriots, we here at Bucs Nation will dive into some picks and predictions for Tampa Bay’s big Week 11 matchup against a tough AFC opponent.
Check it all out below.
Predictions
Offense
Tampa Bay’s offense has been very inconsistent. With no Bucky Irving and no Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay still isn’t mustering enough juice on offense to put teams away. But there could be some potential positives in this game for the Bucs.
The Bills give up 147 yards a game on the ground (ranked 30th). The Buccaneers may be able to get the run game going with Rachaad White and Sean Tucker and total at least 120 yards on the ground in Buffalo.
Defense
Buffalo is a damn good football team offensively. They are second overall in total yards per game. Without the doubt, the Buccaneers defense will have their hands full. But in the last four games, Buffalo was not dominant in two games against the Falcons and the Dolphins in the rushing department. Their league best 153 yards per game on the ground diminished to 134 yards against Atlanta and 87 yards against Miami. If the Bucs want any shot at winning this one, they will need to limit the Bills to a rushing number in between and hope the pass defense can hold up. Look for the Bucs to hold the Bills to only around 100 yards on the ground Sunday.
