Bayern Munich knows that Michael Olise is going to be one of the most sought after players in world and wants to give him a new deal through 2031 as clubs like Liverpool lurk about per Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl (via @iMiaSanMia):
Bayern are aware that Michael Olise is attracting interest from several top Premier League clubs – especially Liverpool – and are working on extending the Frenchman’s contract. Olise’s current deal runs until 2029 and does not include a release
clause. Olise currently earns a base salary of around €12m gross per year, that can go up to a maximum of €16m through performance based bonuses – so he’s not one of the top earners in the team. Bayern bosses want to extend Olise’s contract until 2031 and give him a pay rise.
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer affirmed the club’s commitment to Olise as well.
“He [Olise] is one of the faces of the new FC Bayern, and we hope he will remain so for a long time to come,” Hainer remarked.
