Barcelona will have to cope without Frenkie de Jong for their final Champions League group game due to suspension.
The Dutchman was one of several players at risk of a ban, for yellow card accumulation,
and picked up a second yellow card late in Wednesday’s win over Slavia Prague.
He’ll now sit out the visit from FC Copenhagen on January 28th in what will be a blow to Flick. The Barcelona boss may also be without Pedri as he went off injured against Slavia Prague.
Flick will be able to welcome Lamine Yamal back for next week’s match at Camp Nou. The forward missed the trip to Prague due to suspension but will be available once again.
Barcelona face their final group game match still with a chance of securing a top eight place, although it promises to be an exciting final matchweek in Europe’s top club competition.
The Catalans are one of six teams currently sitting on 13 points in the table, starting from PSG in sixth place down to Atalanta in 13th.
