Bayern to take a run at Hall? (TEAMtalk)
Bayern Munich has been closely linked to Newcastle United attacker Anthony Gordon, but what if the Bavarians have another Magpies player in mind as well? That might be the case as Bayern Munich is rumored to have interest in 21-year-old left-back Lewis Hall:
Newcastle United are facing a growing battle to keep hold of Lewis Hall this summer, with TEAMtalk understanding the England international is prepared to consider leaving St James’ Park should the right opportunity emerge.
Sources have confirmed
to TEAMtalk that Hall is viewed internally at Old Trafford as one of the leading options to strengthen Michael Carrick’s squad ahead of next season. Manchester United, however, are far from alone in the race. Arsenal have maintained a long-standing admiration for Hall and continue to monitor his progress closely, while former club Chelsea have also retained a watching brief on the player they allowed to leave two years ago.
Liverpool are another club with a long-term appreciation for Hall’s qualities, and sources indicate the Anfield side continue to view him as one of the best young English full-backs available. The Merseyside side, who will lose Andy Robertson as a free agent this summer, are understood to be keen to add a new left-back to their ranks. TEAMtalk can also confirm Bayern Munich are showing particularly strong interest.
There is some thought that Bayern Munich is worried about the injury history of left-back Alphonso Davies, but Newcastle just bought Hall from Chelsea in 2024 for €33 million. His value has only gone up, which likely prices Bayern Munich out of the running.
Journo shoots down Stones rumor (Sky Germany’s Kerry Hau)
Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau says that Bayern Munich is not planning a future with Manchester City center-back John Stones:
There is nothing to the rumors surrounding John Stones and FC Bayern. The FCB is not planning to sign the English center-back. @SkySportDE
The key thing to remember here is that the report was only that Stones was offered to Bayern Munich by his agent, not necessarily that the Bavarians were out hunting the Man City veteran.
If Bayern Munch does plan to go all-in on a treble run and — somehow — sells both Kim Min-jae and Hiroki Itō, there are worse options than getting Stones as a low cost, veteran depth piece.
Stuttgart getting close with Undav? (Sport Bild’s Julian Agardi)
VfB Stuttgart could be closing in on a contract extension with attacker Deniz Undav:
The #VfB Stuttgart is now offering Deniz #Undav a 3-year contract until 2029 with an option for 2030. In addition, a salary increase to around 5.5 million euros plus a one-time signing bonus of around 2 million euros just for his signature. Definitely no agreement before the cup final. @BILD
Barcola wants LFC move (Le10 Sport via ESPN)
Per one report, Paris Saint-Germain attacker Bradley Barcola could be open to a move to Liverpool:
A move to Liverpool appeals to PSG winger Bradley Barcola, with the France international set to enter the final two years of his deal.
PSG probably does not want to sell Barcola, but he could be getting antsy about not being in Luis Enrique’s Champagne XI.
Bayern eyeing Bisseck? (Transfer journalist Nicolò Schira)
Inter Milan center-back Yann Bisseck will not make the German national team per reports, but he might have done enough this season to get on Bayern Munich’s radar:
BayernMunich have shown interest in #Inter’s centre-back Yann #Bisseck. #transfers
Bisseck changed his agency, which should ramp up the rumors even more:
Bisseck’s contract with Inter Milan runs through 2029.
United could make move for Bellingham (ESPN)
Manchester United is reportedly eyeing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham:
Manchester United have revived interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham, TEAMtalk reports. The Red Devils were linked with the 20-year-old last summer after he helped Sunderland achieve promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs, but instead he opted follow the path of his brother, Real Madrid and England midfielder Jude Bellingham, by moving to Dortmund. Bellingham had struggled to settle at first, but he has featured heavily since with 44 appearances across all competitions, leading to Man United’s interest as they look at midfield options.
Paris Saint-Germain have “opened the door” to Federico Valverde, Diario AS reports, saying the French club contacted the Real Madrid midfielder’s entourage this weekend in an “informal conversation” to “ask for context” about his situation. However, PSG are aware Valverde isn’t thinking about leaving Madrid, despite his training ground altercation with Aurelien Tchouameni, the newspaper says.
Rodri is close to renewing his contract with Manchester City amid links with a potential move to Real Madrid, according to Matteo Moretto. A decision on the midfielder’s future is imminent, with City now willing to accelerate the process. The 29-year-old’s current deal runs until 2027, while he has featured 20 times in the Premier League this campaign after suffering injury issues.
