The 2026 NFL draft is in the books, with the Cleveland Browns bringing in 10 new players with their picks, after a load of trades by GM Andrew Berry. Soon enough, we will have a “way-too-early” 2027 NFL mock draft. We already have the “way-too-early” 2026 Browns 53-man roster projection published, just minutes before the 2026 draft was actually finalized.
There was a strong sense that this year’s draft lacked top-end talent but was very deep. Every year, it seems, there is talk about the next NFL
draft class being “great” or “loaded,” especially at the all-important quarterback position. That is true once again, heading into the 2027 NFL draft, where Arch Manning, Dante Moore, and CJ Carr lead the quarterback list, while WR Jeremiah Smith looks like an all-time prospect.
The Browns are currently scheduled to have 10 selections in next year’s draft:
- Round 1 – Own
- Round 2 – Own
- Round 3 – Own
- Round 4 – Own, Giants, Seahawks
- Round 5 – Own, Texans
- Round 7 – Own, Texans
As we saw this year, if Berry is still leading the charge, you can expect Cleveland to be very active on draft day and throughout the season, wheeling and dealing. For now, 10 picks, including three in the fourth round, could really help build the Browns roster.
