The Indianapolis Colts today’s released their Wednesday injury report for week 7 of the NFL season against the Minnesota Vikings.
Wide receiver Keenan Allen, running back Jonathan Taylor and cornerback Charvarius Ward were all unable to practice at full capacity today. Taylor was limited and both Allen and Ward missed practice due to veteran rest days. Linebacker Bryce Boettcher (groin) missed practice today. Whilst fellow linebacker
Jaylon Carlies (ribs) was limited, he has missed two games through injury. Austin Ajake (concussion) was limited as the team evaluates him to see if he needs to enter the concussion protocol. The Colts linebacker group is getting more and more banged up and there could be a return to the starting line up for Germaine Pratt this week off the practice squad.
Cornerbacks Sauce Gardner (calf) and Justin Walley (knee) both missed practice today. Two starting corners missing practice in a Wednesday isn’t a great look for a 2-4 team in need of a big week. Gardner is likely out multiple weeks through injuring his calf. Wallet needs to bounce back tomorrow or could be at rush if missing this week too.
Guard Matt Goncalves (ankle) missed practice today. Right ta Joe Jalen Travis (foot) was limited. The right side of the Colts OL being unable to practice fully today is another worry for the Colts heading into a game against the best defense in football this year. Hopefully both can manage to practice tomorrow and Friday.
Tight ends Tyler Warren (groin) and Andrew Ogletree (ankle) both missed practice today. Warren is still dealing with a groin injury he sustained at practice last week. Ogletree appears to have picked up a knock to his ankle.
Wide receivers Ashton Dulin (hamstring) and Anthony Gould (concussion) were both unable to be full participants today at practice. Dulin was limited as he works his way back from a hamstring injury he had been dealing with all year. Gould enters the concussion protocol and is likely to be out this week.
After a turbulent week off the field, it looks set to be a turbulent week on the practice field too with 12 Colts being unable to be a full participant in practice today. Roll on the 5-0 Vikings!!
