Points Shared w/ Rayo
So, Los Blancos were… mediocre — at best — against Ryo Vallecano. They often look solid and looked to win the ball back in defence, in spite of Rayo looking dangerous in a couple instances (and yes, Rayo did look like the better team is some parts of the match). The offence, on the other hand… Good Lord… Real Madrid did nothing — let that sink — nothing in the attacking part of the game. Sure, there were some nice mazy runs but star plays, but the final ball was lacking and the real chances were few and far between. This is like the team has even taken a step from the somewhat low conversion we were talking about a few days ago. I’m guessing that Xabi Alsonso and his coaching team will be working on the matter in the days to come.
