When Harry Kane stepped up to the spot, he had to know some history was on the line. Not only did he score his 100th goal in the Bundesliga, but also became the fastest player to reach that milestone in the history of Germany’s top flight.
Kane reach the mark in just 98 games.
After teammate Michael Olise was taken down in the box, Kane — naturally — was the player to take the penalty. The English buried his attempt and made some history in the process:
This is yet another remarkable feat in the incredible career of Kane. A leading contender for the Ballon d’Or, Kane just continues to produce and show the world he is deserving of the recognition.
Somehow, there is still a half left to play and Bayern Munich is already leading 3-0. Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise also scored for the Bavarians, who are just thrashing Union Berlin.
