For those Tennessee fans hoping to get their tailgating plans ironed out for the season, well, you can at least do that now for the season’s first three games.
The Vols’ kickoff times for the Furman, Georgia Tech, and Kennesaw State games have been determined and revealed.
The notable one there is the Georgia Tech game, set to take place under the lights inside Bobby Dodd Stadium. I have to say, that place has some kind of voodoo about it, and
I was hoping it was going to be a day game. A weird place with some weird results over the years.
But it’s a game that Tennessee still will be expected to win and darned well should if they’re going to amount to anything in 2026.
Good luck to those who are going to sweat out the opener on Labor Day weekend. Neyland should be a hot one at kickoff. There will at least be a night kick in Week 3 after a long day of tailgating, so fans who like a full day of libation and more tolerable temperatures should be happy.
