The Germany U-21 squad has been selected and there is a strong group assembled.
Bayern Munich midfielder Tom Bischof did not get a call to the first team, but did get the nod from the U-21s. In addition, Noël Aséko Nkili, who is on loan with Hannover 96, was another Bayern Munich-affiliated player selected. PSV Eindhoven’s Paul Wanner left Bayern Munich over the summer as well.
An interesting note is that Bischof, Brajan Gruda, and Nnamdi Collins all have first-team experience on their resume. Gruda was
not formally selected for the first team, but did train with the squad in May of 2024:
After dismantling Pafos FC in the Champions League, Bayern Munich will travel to Eintracht Frankfurt for a key Bundesliga tilt.
Die Adler can be a handful, but the Bavarians are riding high at the moment and could be too much for the offensive strong, but defensively challenged Eintracht Frankfurt squad to handle.
