Carlos Prates can knock out anyone.
For proof, look no further than his finish of Leon Edwards at UFC 322 on Saturday. With one good punch, Prates lifted Edwards off of his feet and robbed him of his consciousness
, becoming the first fighter ever to defeat the former welterweight champion via strikes. That it was Prates who did it is less surprising as he is now 6-1 in the UFC with all of those wins coming by KO/TKO.
In fact, of Prates’ 23 pro wins, 18 have now come courtesy of his sensational knockout power.
Prates’ highlight-reel finish had pros on social media struggling to find the words to describe it, with Vince Morales settling on “Prates looks like he hits people with a [sic] tazer! They all drop like that.”
