The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana travel to Madrid for their third La Liga game of the season against Rayo Vallecano, and Hansi Flick has called up the following 23 players for Sunday’s clash:
Goalkeepers: Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczesny, Diego Kochen
Defenders: Alejandro Balde, Ronald Araujo, Pau Cubarsí, Andreas Christensen, Gerard Martín, Jules Kounde, Eric García, Jofre Torrents
Midfielders: Pedri, Fermín López, Marc Casadó, Dani Olmo, Frenkie de Jong, Dro Fernández
Forwards: Ferran
Torres, Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Marcus Rashford, Toni Fernández
There’s good and bad news for Barça ahead of this one: the good news is the inclusion of Wojciech Szczesny and Gerard Martín, who are finally registered and named in the squad. The bad news is that Gavi is out due to a knee injury, while Roony Bardghji has not been registered yet and is forced to sit out once again. Marc-André ter Stegen (back) and Marc Bernal (knee) are also out due to injury, and both Oriol Romeu and Héctor Fort are finalizing their departures and don’t make the squad.
Predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1):
Garcia; Kounde, Cubarsí, Eric, Balde; De Jong, Pedri; Yamal, Olmo, Raphinha; Ferran
