It is gameday!
Our Kentucky Wildcats are back in action tonight as they head down to Columbia for a date with the South Carolina Gamecocks.
In what has become a very important game for both teams, Mark Stoops
and his team will look to respond to two major issues that have plagued his tenure in Lexington. What are they? Performance in games after bye weeks, and finally having a win at the QB position.
The Cats have notoriously struggled after their off weeks, giving the BBN little faith heading into such a massive game after their first bye week of the season. Can they respond tonight? Let’s hope so.
For the QB situation, this will be the first time in quite a while that the Cats have had a starting quarterback who has been recruited by the staff out of high school. As transfer quarterbacks have been the name of the game, players with the talent like Cutter Boley can really elevate the program if you hit on your scouting. Will Boley shine in his first road start?
If he does, then there seems to be a bright future in Lexington.
Big time game tonight. Let’s go get this win.
Go Cats!
