Barcelona star Ferran Torres scored the winner for Spain in the final of the World Cup and his goal has – perhaps unsurprisingly – sent the rumor mill into overdrive.
The first whispers began on social media on Monday and talk that Liverpool were keen on Barcelona’s Shark as they continue efforts to bolster their attack.
The rumor
mill then went one better and decided that Real Madrid were also keen on Ferran. A report from French newspaper L’Equipe claims Los Blancos could battle PSG for his signature.
There’s already been plenty of talk about PSG and Ferran. During the World Cup there was speculation that Ferran was in “advanced talks” with the European champions and set for a reunion with Luis Enrique.
Elsewhere, there are reports that Barcelona are planning on renewing Torres but not yet. The club want to wait until September to make a move as they will have to make an €8 million payment to Manchester City if they do extend Torres’s contract.
