It’s a massive weekend in college football. The first set of college football playoff rankings will be released Tuesday night, and Saturday is full of massive matchups that will affect the playoff — especially Notre Dame VS Miami.
Notre Dame is taking this time to honor Lou Holtz in a number of ways.
Former players who served as team captains during Coach Holtz’s tenure have been invited back to serve as the flag presenters prior to the game against Miami. Some of the members of Coach Holtz’s teams
who are set to attend include Tony Rice, Byron Spruell and Ricky Watters. Coach Holtz and his legacy will be honored during a portion of the halftime band performance as well as during the 1812 Overture at the break between the third and fourth quarters of the game.
It’s a huge weekend.
