The Washington Commanders are 3-5 after a 28-7 road loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football. They were staying with the Chiefs in the first half, going into halftime with a 7-7 score, but
they were outscored 21-0 in the 2nd half. The Commanders got two turnovers in the first half that they couldn’t convert into points, and they just watched as the Chiefs kept scoring later in the game.
The Commanders are now on a three-game losing streak, and their playoff odds continue to get smaller with each loss. Jayden Daniels didn’t play last night due to a hamstring injury from the week before. That is his third missed game of the season, and he could miss more time with his new injury. Washington did get WRs Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel back from injury last night, but that wasn’t enough for an offense that only scored 7 points.
