Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson did not participate in the team’s first practice of Week 4, according to multiple reports.
The two-time MVP’s absence does not seem to be caused by injury. He spoke to reporters prior to practice and gave no indication he was dealing with any physical issue or that he was at risk of missing Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
More likely, this is a result of of traveling to Brazil and back in the last week, a trip that including a tight, taxing, and thrilling
win over the Dallas Cowboys. Jackson “looked and sounded either really tired or sick” in the locker room after the game, per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.
Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley did return to practice after missing all of Week 3 due to a toe injury. His backup, 2025 fifth-round pick Carson Vinson, held up in his first career regular-season start, but with the team’s other issues along the offensive line, Stanley’s potential return in Week 4 should boost the entire unit.
The Ravens will release the first full practice report of Week 4 later this afternoon, which will provide some clarity of Jackson’s status, Stanley’s likelihood of playing on Sunday, and any other injuries the team picked up in Brazil.
