his chances of making the German national team for the World Cup this summer:

Ter Stegen is in trouble. It has been one thing after another for the goalkeeper to deal with and this could be final straw for his chances to make the German squad. After suffering a back injury that limited him majorly in recent seasons, Ter Stegen was already a longshot. Since the start of the 2023/24 campaign, Ter Stegen has missed 92 games and an astounding 441 days due to injuries to his back and patellar tendon.
