The Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints have declared their injury designations ahead of their Week 1 matchup at Ford Field this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. The Lions enter this game with all 53 members of their active roster practicing, and only one players whose injuries could keep them from playing in this weekend’s game.

Questionable
- DB Christian Izien (groin)
Izien’s status for Week 1 seems in question at this time.
While he is progressing, Campbell noted that with the Lions playing on a short week (they play on Thursday night against the Bills in Week 2), his availability hasn’t been decided upon.
“He’s doing well. We felt really good about him. He’s close,” Campbell said of Izien on Friday. “I want to see what he looks like running around today and then knowing that we’re going on a short week after this, that’ll have a bearing on it too, but he’s moving around really well. I feel like he’s a little ahead of schedule in a good way, so we’ll see.”
The Lions training staff will make the final decision on Izien’s availability, according to Detroit News’ Nolan Bianchi.

Moore has had a couple of injuries to start off his Lions career, but fortunately, none of them have been significant. The Lions said they planned to take things slow with his recovery, but he will play against the Saints.
“I think he should be good to go,” coach Dan Campbell said of Moore on Friday. “He’s put in two pretty good days here of heavy work, heavy for him, let’s put it that way. So yeah, I like where he’s trending.”
The rest of the players listed in this section do not carry an injury designation into the game, meaning they’ve been cleared to play and are expected to be available against the Saints.
