The Baltimore Ravens are known for finding diamonds in the rough when signing undrafted rookies. In 21 of the last 22 years, a UDFA has made the 53-man roster, including three in 2025: Keyon Martin, Reuben Lowery, and Jay Higgins. (Lowery retired this offseason, but Martin and Higgins are poised to keep their spots for a second year.)

into training camp, it was unclear if the Ravens would have room on their roster for an undrafted rookie. But several have played their way into consideration for a 53-man roster spot, though Baltimore Beatdown’s staff is largely agreed on their favorite:
Zach’s take: The Ravens’ best undrafted rookie signing has to be Ethan Burke up to this point. It was hard to picture any UDFA making the roster during the summer because of stacked this roster was and the large draft class. But the former Maryland lacrosse commit has generated a lot more buzz than Adisa Isaac and Kaimon Rucker so far through two weeks. He consistently made plays in training camp and broke out in Saturday’s preseason win in Minnesota with two tackles, two pressures, a sack, a tackle for loss, a pass breakup and a forced fumble on just 34 snaps. It’ll be hard to keep him off the roster as the fifth edge if the Ravens roster that many, which is to be expected.
Dustin’s take: I have to go with outside linebacker Ethan Burke as the Ravens’ best undrafted rookie signing this year. Burke has a real shot the make the team as the fifth outside linebacker following a strong preseason, particularly his recent game against the Vikings. The former Texas Longhorn has shown real pop as a pass rusher on the edge through two preseason games. Burke’s main competition as the fifth outside linebacker is former third-round pick Adisa Isaac. Isaac is entering his third season and has struggled to stay on the field to this point in his career. While Isaac is still a promising prospect, Burke has given Baltimore more reason to go with him when comparing how the two players have performed this preseason.
