With one pick currently left in the 2026 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns have spent most of their draft resources giving new HC Todd Monken an offensive roster upgrade. Two wide receivers, a few offensive linemen, and a tight end started the process, but with the first pick in the sixth round, GM Andrew Berry added a quarterback as well, Tylen Green.
A freakish athlete who has the best NFL combine marks at three different events since 2023 (vertical jump, broad jump, and 40-yard dash), Green gives
Monken a different type of player on the quarterback depth chart. Shedeur Sanders finished last year as the team’s starter, Deshaun Watson is trying to return from multiple major injuries (and multiple years of poor play while on the field, while Dillon Gabriel was Cleveland’s starter for six games last year, and played in four others.
Monken has made it clear that the QB competition is wide open, which now adds “a supercharged Vince Young,” according to Daniel Jeremiah. In five seasons in college, three with Boise State and two with Arkansas, Green completed just 60% of his passes for 9,662 yards, 59 TDs, and 35 INTs. Green ran for over 2,400 yards and 35 touchdowns as well.
As of now, Monken has four quarterbacks on his depth chart heading into the rookie minicamp and the rest of the offseason programming:

Do you think the Browns will add another quarterback to this group? Who do you think makes the initial 53-man roster?
