Monday Night Raw ended with a bang as “Main Event” Jey Uso speared LA Knight to close the show.
After Raw, Uso posted a photo of the moment on Instagram with a caption that read, “I’m back.”

Earlier in the night, Jey and his brother Jimmy challenged The Vision’s Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker to a tag team match at Wrestlepalooza on Sept. 20. During the promo exchange, LA Knight showed up and attacked Reed and Breakker.
For a moment, Jey and Knight worked together against the heels. But as Knight went
for a BFT on Reed, he nearly ran into Jey. Reed then charged at Knight, who sidestepped him, causing Reed to crash into Jey in the corner — increasing the tension between the two babyfaces.
Later in the show, Jimmy Uso caught up with his twin as he was leaving the building.
“Bro, we got a play to run,” said Jimmy, saying Knight needed their help in taking down Reed and Breakker. But instead of running the play, Jey called an audible.
“Helping LA Knight ain’t gonna get us no Wrestlepalooza,” said Jey. “Damn sure ain’t gonna help me get my World Heavyweight Championship back, Uce.”
The new play, according to the former world champ, was that everyone would either acknowledge them or get smashed.
“Man, you’re not sounding like yourself, Uce. You kind of sound like Roman,” Jimmy replied.
“Well, maybe sounding like myself ain’t working,” Jey snapped back.
As Snickers famously says, “You’re not you when you’re hungry.” And right now, Jey sounds starved for another shot at the World Title. That hunger may be fueled by recent advice from Reigns: put yourself and your family above everything else.
After Reed defeated Knight in the main event, Jimmy came to Knight’s aid, but Reed and Breakker were able to overpower both men. Jey made a shocking return to the ring, but even that wasn’t enough. As the Usos lay vulnerable, Knight ultimately made the save with a steel chair.
Just when it seemed like there was mutual respect between Knight and the Usos, the Megastar was blindsided by a spear from a visibly frustrated Jey.
Despite being one of WWE’s most popular stars, Jey has faced intense scrutiny this year. Fans and pundits questioned his ability to carry the company as World Champion. Their concerns seemed valid once his title reign was cut short at 51 days.
Since then, he and Reigns have reunited, with Jey seeming to take Reigns’ advice to heart. If his time as a lovable fan favorite is coming to an end, a heel turn could reignite his career and open the door to compelling rivalries with LA Knight, his brother Jimmy, and cousin Roman — all while keeping his sights on the World Title.
