The 2026 NFL Draft is here and the 32 teams are welcoming another rookie crop that can shake up the league. The draft also means finalizing past trades that included future draft picks, including one from 2024 between the Minnesota Vikings and the Jacksonville Jaguars involving offensive tackle Cam Robinson.
Original Terms of the Cam Robinson trade
- Vikings receive: Cam Robinson, 2026 conditional seventh-round pick
- Jaguars receive: 2026 conditional fifth-round pick
What did the Jaguars do with the pick from the Cam Robinson trade?
The Jaguars ended up getting a fourth-round pick for Robinson, but they ended up flipping it to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025 for wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, who was very good down the stretch
for them with 42 catches for 483 yards and three touchdowns.
Trading Robinson for Meyers is a huge win.
What did the Vikings do with the pick from the Cam Robinson trade?
The Vikings only had Robinson for a handful of games before he signed in free agency with the Houston Texans. Because he did not satisfy the playing time requirements to trigger the draft pick, the Vikings did not end up with another seventh-round selection and instead gave a fourth-round pick to Jacksonville.
That fourth-round pick slots in at 117 overall.
How was Cam Robinson’s performance for the Vikings in 2024?
Robinson came to the Vikings in a pinch, but started 10 games for them down the stretch of the 2024 season as the team made the playoffs. While they lost in the Wild Card round to the Los Angeles Rams, the trade should be considered a success for them.
