Their Week 3 opponents, the Kansas City Chiefs, kicked a last second field goal in overtime on Sunday night to defeat the Indianapolis Colts 33-30 and improve to 2-0. The Week 3 contest, the Dolphins’ first game at home this year and Kansas City’s first road trip, feels like a David and Goliath matchup, and, unfortunately, the results are probably not going to go David’s way this time.

the return of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is back to looking like the Super Bowl contender. Miami looks like a team that might claim the first overall pick in the 2027 NFL Draft by finishing this season with the worst record in the league. The oddsmakers seem to realize this game is probably going to end about as lopsided as the Dolphins-49ers game.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Dolphins-Chiefs game opened with Miami a 10.5-point underdog. Given Miami’s two losses this year, including their Week 1 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, have come by an average of 18 points, this line feels like it could have been even larger.
The line for total points scored is 45.5.
