I’ve been a little MIA for the last couple of weeks. I work in accounting, and as you can probably imagine, this is the craziest time of the year for me. The good news is we are just a little more than two days away from “tax season” being over.
With that being said, one of the things that I have been seeing a lot of is that the Tennessee Titans are one of the teams looking to move down in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. That’s not really news. The Titans have made no secret of their desire
to add extra draft capital. There is a lack of blue-chip talent at the top of the draft, but it is a deep draft by all accounts.
Of course, the fact that there is a lack of blue-chip talent in this draft is going to make it more difficult to trade down, but hey, it just takes one team to fall in love with a guy in order to move up a few spots to get him.
In the above-linked article, Breer mentions Arvell Reese and Jeremiyah Love as two players that teams could be willing to trade up to draft. It would be great for the Titans to be able to add extra picks, but the most important thing is that they come away from night one with a player who can make an immediate impact on the field.
So you play Mike Borgonzi, if the draft goes Fernando Mendoza, David Bailey, Arvell Reese, would you rather the Titans stay and take Love, or trade down a few spots and take the best player on their board that’s still available?
