What is the story about?
The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected their second wide receiver of the 2026 NFL Draft, and their second consecutive Iowa Hawkeye, selecting Kaden Wetjen with the 121st overall pick.
Wetjen is the first player in FBS history to win The Jet Award, which goes to the best return man in college football. He led the FBS in punt return yards with 563. As a receiver, he caught 20 passes for 151 yards and one touchdown.
Considering the lack of return specialist on the roster, it’s safe to say Wetjen will slot
in that role immediately.
