After a weekend full of trades back and all around the 2026 NFL Draft board, the Buffalo Bills closed out their portion of the process by adding offensive guard Ar’Maj Reed-Adams with pick 241 in Round 7. A massive lineman, Reed-Adams measured in at 6’5 3/4” and 314 pounds during the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine.
An older rookie at 24 years old, Reed-Adams spent six years at the college level between Kansas and later Texas A&M. Reed-Adams appeared in 56 games at guard in those six campaigns, per Sports
Reference. He started 15 of 31 games played with Kansas.
At the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, Reed-Adams earned a Prospect Grade of 5.86 and “Average Backup Or Special-Teamer.” His Total Score there of 73 placed him ninth among all guards at this year’s combine. In athletic drills, Reed-Adams ran a 5.28-second 40-yard dash, 1.85-second 10-yard split, 7.88-second 3-cone drill, 29.5” vertical jump, and 9’2” broad jump.
Pre-draft analysis of Reed-Adams reveals a prospect who will likely compete to provide depth along the offensive line, with perhaps greater upside if he can utilize his size traits to gain more consistency rep to rep.
NFL analyst Lance Zierlein had the following to say about Reed-Adams pro prospects:
“Sixth-year senior guard with NFL size and length. Reed-Adams is an adequate athlete in small spaces. However, he loses effectiveness when forced to venture beyond home base. As a downhill blocker, he uses size to compensate for his lack of leverage, but he’s missing the contact balance and body control to sustain with consistency. He lacks command in pass protection but maintains a feel for the rusher’s movement. He usually finds his anchor against a bull rush, but his inconsistency as a processor leads to mistakes against gaming fronts. Reed-Adams has a chance to earn a spot as a backup.”
