Luis Llopis is set to leave his position as the goalkeeping coach at Real Madrid, unless there is an ’unexpected twist’, reports ESPN journalist Javier Rodríguez Pascual.
Llopis has been at the club since the start of the 2021-22 season, and after four seasons in charge of the nets at the Bernabeu, the Spaniard will look for a different challenge.
Llopis, who was in his second stint at Real Madrid, would leave after a combined eight years at the club — initially holding this position in the three-peat
era.
It has not been revealed why the coach is leaving, but he is not the only one who would not be working under new Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho.
‘Rodra’ revealed that fitness coach and readaptator José Parrales will not remain with the first team, either.
The replacements for these coaches has not been confirmed yet, although there is plenty of time to do so.
