Former Michigan Wolverines were making plays all over the NFL in Week 3. Mason Graham continued his impressive start in Cleveland with his first multi-sack game of the season, while Roman Wilson found the end zone for Pittsburgh. Josh Wallace picked off a pass, Dominic Zvada supplied all 12 points for the Giants, and several other former Wolverines filled up the stat sheet.
Here’s how Michigan’s former players performed around the NFL in Week 3.
Mason Graham continues dominant start
Graham is quickly becoming a problem for opposing offensive
lines. The former Michigan defensive tackle finished with seven tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks in Cleveland’s 21-18 win over Carolina. It marked Graham’s third consecutive game with a sack. After recording one in each of his first two games, Graham is already up to four through three weeks.
Roman Wilson finds the end zone
Wilson delivered the biggest game of his young season in Pittsburgh’s 30-27 win over Cincinnati. The former Michigan receiver caught three passes for 60 yards and his first touchdown of the season. His 38-yard reception was also his longest of the year.
Wilson now has 11 receptions for 114 yards through three games after recording 26 and 28 receiving yards in the first two weeks.
Josh Wallace comes away with a pick
Wallace made his presence felt in the Rams’ 30-26 loss to Denver. The former Wolverine recorded three tackles, two pass breakups and an interception, which he returned 26 yards.
It was Wallace’s first interception of the season and highlighted one of the best defensive performances of the week by a former Michigan player.
Dominic Zvada provides all the offense
Michigan fans already know what Zvada can do when his number is called. The rookie kicker was perfect in the Giants’ 12-7 win over Tennessee, connecting from 39, 27, 39 and 30 yards to account for every New York point. He is now 6-for-6 on field goals through the first three weeks of his NFL career.
Josh Metellus fills up the stat sheet
Metellus was everywhere in Minnesota’s 23-16 win over Tampa Bay. The former Wolverine finished with nine tackles, half a sack, a quarterback hit and a pass breakup. He now has 20 tackles through the Vikings’ first three games.
Jaishawn Barham keeps producing
Barham once again found himself around the football for Dallas. The rookie linebacker finished with seven tackles and two tackles for loss in the Cowboys’ 34-31 loss to Baltimore. His biggest moment came near the goal line, where Barham stopped Derrick Henry for a loss on 4th-and-goal from the one.
AJ Barner breaks out through the air
Barner delivered his biggest receiving performance of the season in Seattle’s 33-31 loss to Washington. The former Michigan tight end hauled in five passes for 69 yards, a major jump after recording three catches for 21 yards over the first two weeks. He now has eight receptions for 90 yards through three games, along with the rushing touchdown he scored in Week 2.
Aidan Hutchinson keeps getting after the quarterback
Hutchinson added another half-sack in Detroit’s 31-24 win over the Jets. The former No. 2 overall pick also recorded two tackles and a bunch of pressures, continuing his productive start to the season for Detroit.
Hutchinson wasn’t the only former Wolverine contributing for the Lions. Rookie linebacker Jimmy Rolder made his NFL debut and recorded his first career tackle.

- Blake Corum ran six times for 15 yards and added two receptions in the Rams’ loss to Denver. His teammate Josaiah Stewart recorded two tackles.
- Dax Hill finished with four tackles and a pass breakup for Cincinnati against Pittsburgh. Meanwhile, Kris Jenkins Jr. added a tackle, while DJ Turner II recorded a pass breakup.
- Mike Sainristil recorded two tackles in Washington’s win over Seattle.
- Rashan Gary finished with one tackle for Dallas, while Luke Schoonmaker caught one pass for nine yards.
- Kwity Paye recorded three tackles in Las Vegas’ 35-27 win over New Orleans. He now has 11 tackles, five quarterback hits and two sacks through three games.
- Colston Loveland caught four passes for 31 yards in Chicago’s 27-7 Monday night win over Philadelphia after entering the game with just one reception for three yards on the season.
