In Other Raiders’ Links:
- Raiders open as underdogs: our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook have Las Vegas as a field goal underdog at home against the Cowboys next week.
- Is Tom McMahon the first domino?: “McMahon’s dismissal is likely one of many Raiders’ dominos to fall if Carroll remains head honcho this offseason,” Silver and Black Pride’s Ray Aspuria wrote. “…But I keep asking myself this question: Can Carroll and his coaching staff be trusted to develop future prospects and current players?”
- Carroll a one-and-done?: “What started as one last run now looks like it could be one and done,” The Seattle Times’ Matt Calkins wrote. “…It’s far more frequent that the great ones leave on a low than a high — and right now, Carroll is countless leagues under the sea.”
- Raiders beat themselves: “Too many self-inflicted wounds Thursday night cost the Raiders, who are not yet built to withstand so many cuts,” Paul Guiterrez of the team’s website wrote. “Instead, they emerged from their latest heart wrenching loss – this one 10-7 to the AFC West-leading Broncos – with little else but bumps, bruises and a painful lesson learned. Especially for the younger guys on the roster.”
