What is the story about?
The 2026 NWSL championship game will take place at Audi Field, the home of the Washington Spirit, on Saturday, November 21. This marks the first time that the final match will be on the East Coast since 2022, when it was also hosted by Audi Field.
The Washington Spirit have now sold out three games at Audi Field this season, most recently this past Saturday in a 2-1 home win over the Seattle Reign. The club had also sold out three matches in each of the 2024 and 2025 seasons, including both 2025 playoff
matches.

The Washington Spirit have made it to the championship game three times in the past five seasons, winning the title once.
