Bayern Munich’s squad is a mix of some of the most talented players on the planet and some average players to help with squad depth. Somewhere between those lines is Sacha Boey, who is kind of in limbo
with regards to his status within the club. Bayern does want to sell him but can’t do so right away. First, you should know that the Frenchman was offered to Juventus in the summer:
Sacha Boey has been offered to Juventus again in the past few days and weeks. The Frenchman was already offered to Juve in the final days of the summer transfer window, but the Italian club decided against the move. It remains to be seen what Juventus’ new sporting director will decide to do.

The former Galatasaray right-back is normally a good player but fell victim to injuries and has struggled to get back in form. Alphonso Davies is whom Boey is filling in for, and the former isn’t back yet. When he does come back, he has no real understudy; Raphaël Guerreiro is only useful against certain teams. Konrad Laimer, who is equally adept on the left as he is on the right, is locked in on the right.
The point here is that Boey should not be sold unless the club has its eyes set on a better player. While it’s a shame that Boey never ended up the player he was with Gala, Bayern could do with more skilled fullbacks.
