The Braves are probably looking at a bullpen rebuild this offseason. Second base is middle of the pack. Center field is whatever Michael Harris can make it, I imagine. The starting pitcher rotation will need to recover as well. So there is a decent core, but there are some holes as well. The front office is likely going to try to patch some of those holes this offseason. They can get to 85ish wins doing that. They probably won’t blow it up, but hey, I’ve been wrong before.
So who is your big free
agent desire for 2026? This could be an aspirational choice that won’t happen. Or it could be somebody more realistic. I wouldn’t hate Bo Bichette. The Braves could plant him at short and let Ozzie Albies and Ha-Seong Kim fight over second base. Eugenio Suarez is sitting there with 45 home runs, but has a fugly savant chart and I don’t know what happened to his fielding. Kyle Schwarber is there if the Braves think Marcell Ozuna is broken. They could bring back Mike Soroka as well, depending on how their rotation heals over the winter.
So many options and so little budget.
