What’s left of the Carolina Panthers are making their prime time debut this evening against the Detroit Lions. This was considered to be the toughest game in the opening quarter of the now 1-2 Panthers’ schedule. Injuries, hilarity, and more have contributed to a Carolina squad that is both worse and better than we expected.
The results tonight are anybody’s guess. But a close game of any result has to be considered a win for the ailing Panthers. Competition and the promise of youth now may well translate
into a dangerous team in November and December if the Panthers can ever start to narrow down their reserve and injured lists by returning talent to the field.
